I asked her to sit up on the window seat. ‘Just look out the window angel’. I focus my camera and start to click. I know somewhere there may be a good photo I can play with. One taken before the sun disappeared below the clouds.

The recital is over, my tears of love dry now. She is curled on my lap for the drive home. I look through the two hundred photos I took. There She is, looking so grown up for her three years. Her perfect soft skin glowing with excitement and pride…

Dance baby, like noone is watching

This is a short 101 word story written for Mama Kat’s linkup. I’ve been away a while but hopefully I will be around a lot more.
