Home is Where the Heart Is

Life was simpler when we were home, when photographs of that life sneak up on me they take my breath away. It hurts remembering. Such is the nature of homesickness, and of the grief of letting go of the past.
Hightlights from our first week
It isn’t just the constant busy-ness making us exhausted. This place is sensory overload. You just don’t get a break from it. It will take time to adjust. The first week has been filled with enough activity for a month and despite the exhaustion, we are loving it.
