As an expat in the Philippines, one of my goals is to explore as much of this country as I possibly can before we leave. You see expat life is transient and one day we will be moving on. I like to share my travel stories with readers to encourage them to explore, step out of their comfort zone and become more familiar with the culture, the people and the land they are guests of.
For Saturday Adventure Day we went down to Laguna again to visit the TayTay Falls in Majayjay. I just love saying that. These falls were beautiful, despite the crowds. Really lovely.
It is Christmas and Manila does this in style. The streets are covered in lights and the displays are stunning. One of the best is the Ayala Christmas Lights in Makati. It is just amazing. Go early, get some dinner at one of the lovely restaurants and enjoy the show.
I love going to different Bazaars. You never know what home made treasure you will find.
It is the last day of our big mountain adventure. Today we went hiking in Marlboro Country.
Day four of our big mountain adventure and today is All Souls Day. This is why we came. This is what I was waiting for. It was incredible.

Day two of our mountain adventure saw us driving the scary road up to Sagada. It was terrifying. It was stunning, but really terrifying.
This is day one of a six day mountain adventure, starting in Baguio.
SB wanted to get out and about so I took us out to find some markets.
We went island hopping and it was fantastic. Crystal clear waters, sandy beaches and sunshine. Brilliant.
