Hospital
Well, my worst fear has come true. I have pneumonia and I have been put in hospital.

I love to meet new people, and when it is unexpected it is extra fun.
It was our ‘exploring the markets’ day and we went for a trip to the Cabao Farmers Market. Definitely the best wet market I have been to here.
Jumping in puddles and playing in the rain are just a normal part of life in Australia. Over here in The Philippines it is not.
A boring Sunday. The rain pours, the football is on, the dog is asleep.
I am feeling settled now, like I know what I am doing here. I know how to find things, I understand how this place works a bit better. It is time to get back to business at home. The kids and I have been doing some craft, we have been to a museum and I have tackled getting my toddler off her dummy.
Sometimes when people talk about their best friends and their shared history, I wish I could have that same experience. Having that one person who has been in my life since we were in school. Sharing secrets of our crushes, first kisses, first everythings. I don’t have that.
My new normal at the moment, is managing my time while the children are in Summer School. I am sick, and feeling the challenges of not having a car to get around in.
A post for Friday Reflections on being authentic and living true to your values.
