A Luxury Weekend – Amorita Resort, Bohol
I was invited to visit Amorita Resort and Spa for a weekend. It was just the break I needed.

Today was ANZAC Day and we took the children to the Dawn Service here in Manila. It is a very emotional time, a time to reflect and be grateful.
It was book club night. Our featured book was The Price of Salt by Patricia Highsmith. Beautifully written but most of our evening was discussing other very important topics.
The other week I took the children to the Philippine Aerospace Museum, located in Pasay. It was an interesting day of discovery, most notably in the old helicopter the children could play in. I didn’t think I’d get them out of it!
We went camping, not glamping, real camping. Well we had tents. It was jungle survival and we loved it.
Welcome to my new look SaltyBug blog. Stop by and have a look, I’d love to hear from you.
It’s Easter, most people leave town for the break. Not us, not that there is much to do.
Being involved in your community is important. I recently go to see our community in action and it was super impressive.
I am desperate to start living the life I have been wanting to have over here in Manila. The time is now. There are road bumps all the time that I have to figure out how to get over. I am determined to succeed.
It was book club time again. We watched the Oscars and reviewed Anne of Green Gables. It was a great night.
