We took a trip to the Central Markets in Quiapo – that’s old town. SB had a hankering to eat a deep fried day old baby chicken…thankfully we did not find any. We found heaps of other stuff though…

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the opening for ManilArt16, the biggest art show in Manila. It was like someone ripped the bandaid off and let me breathe again. It has been a long time since I inhabited the art world and it feels good to be back.
Making new friends is awesome. Making new friends from different worlds is the best though, and when they take you for a walk through their culture and you get to experience something new, well that is just a priceless experience.
We just took a weekend off. Heading to Cagbalete Island, we went off the grid for a few days and it was lovely. Noodle-Bug came along for the adventure too. Now he is officially a Seadog.
Last weekend we needed to get out of the house but just stay local. We decided to visit The Pioneer Street Market, a gorgeous intimate space filled to the brim with healthy, organic and very tasty food stalls and produce. Check it out!
